Auto Forward Telegram to X: Publish Updates Without Copy-Paste

Product identity: RedFox is the team. RedFox Auto Forward Telegram (@AutoForwardNew_Bot) is the product. The historical @Auto_Forward_Messages_Bot has moved to @AutoForwardNew_Bot; use the current handle.
You can automatically publish Telegram announcements to X with RedFox Auto Forward Telegram. Connect your X publishing account, select a Telegram channel or group as the source, create a Publish Task and start it. The route runs in RedFox’s cloud after activation, so you do not have to keep copying updates into X—or keep the management screen open.
The key setup detail is authorization: RedFox’s current X flow uses four OAuth 1.0 credentials. It is not a promise of credential-free posting or free X API access.

Auto-Bot.io is a separate editorial publisher and does not develop or operate RedFox Auto Forward Telegram. This guide uses first-party documentation checked September 30, 2026 and owner-confirmed product facts. The examples are proposed workflows, not customer testimonials or a new hands-on delivery test.
New to route terminology? The Telegram forwarding setup guide explains sources and targets. X publishing uses the separate Publish flow below, not a Telegram destination task.
Prepare the source, account and publishing access
- An accessible Telegram channel or group, with permission to republish the selected content.
- An active External Publish addon in RedFox.
- The X account that should publish the posts and an X developer App with the necessary API access.
- API Key, API Secret, Access Token and Access Secret from the same App and publishing account.
The RedFox X Publisher guide documents the task flow; its X credential guide explains the current fields.
Match the credentials correctly
| X Developer Console label | RedFox field |
|---|---|
| Consumer Key | API Key |
| Consumer Secret | API Secret |
| Access Token | Access Token |
| Access Token Secret | Access Secret |
In the documented flow, open your X App’s Settings and set permissions to Read and write before generating the Access Token. If permissions change later, generate a fresh Access Token pair and update both values in RedFox. Tokens generated with old permissions can retain those permissions.
Do not substitute a Bearer Token, Client ID, Client Secret or OAuth 2.0 token into those four fields. They belong to a different authentication method. Keep every value in a password manager and enter it only in the account form. Never publish a screenshot of Keys & Tokens.
Create the publishing route
- Open Home → Publish → Platform Accounts.
- Add an X account, enter the four matching values and verify the connection.
- Create a Publish Task and name it for the content, for example
Project announcements → X. - Select the intended Telegram channel or group and the correct connected X account.
- Add a short Header or Footer if you need a source label or consistent call to action.
- Open Auto Post Schedule when you want controlled publishing times instead of immediate delivery.
- Choose the Include edited messages and Include deleted messages options only after deciding how source corrections should be handled.
- Save, select Start Publish and verify a new test post at the actual X destination.
Turn your announcement channel into a publishing source: start with one route in the RedFox Web app. A clean release channel is a better first source than an uncurated group conversation.
Is Telegram-to-X publishing free?
Separate RedFox access from X API usage. The documented RedFox workflow requires External Publish; X determines API availability and charges. On September 30, 2026, X’s official pricing documentation describes prepaid credits and pay-per-usage billing. Check current endpoint costs and available credits in your developer console before activation. Do not reuse older “Free/Basic/Pro” pricing tables from unrelated tutorials as current pricing.
A verified RedFox connection and a valid credential pair do not by themselves establish that your X App can call every required endpoint or that your credit balance will cover a campaign. The product’s credential guide specifically directs account owners to Billing → Credits when X reports missing credits or API access.
Write for X readers, not just for Telegram members
Use a source post with a clear first line, one point and an understandable next action. A message such as “It’s live, check pinned” makes sense in a Telegram community but not on a standalone X feed. Prefer an explicit release name and destination link.
Proposed source example: “Version update: the new export is available. See what changed and how to enable it: [your release link].” Replace the example with your real, approved announcement. Do not rely on the publisher to turn an arbitrarily long Telegram post into a native X thread or preserve every Telegram-specific presentation detail.
Test before your public release depends on it
- Check the exact publishing X account and the source route.
- Send a new short text sample and verify the published post.
- Test a link and the media type your announcements use.
- Check the actual source-edit/source-delete behavior when those options are enabled. The options are documented; they do not mean every X action is permitted by every account/API state.
- Test any scheduled route at the intended time settings.
- Stop the test task when it is no longer needed. Keep credentials private.
If publishing fails
First check the task status and selected account, then the credential pair and Read and write permissions. Next check X API access and credits. Finally inspect the specific post and task error. RedFox documents Retry on rate limit and Skip on error controls: retries remain subject to X limits, while skipping is continuity behavior, not proof the failed post arrived.
FAQ
Is this Twitter-to-Telegram?
No. X is the destination in this guide. Search results for Twitter trackers often describe the reverse direction and solve a different problem.
Does my computer need to stay on?
RedFox confirms activated tasks execute in its cloud. Your source access, connected X account and API access still need to remain valid.
Does this replace a whole social-media calendar?
It solves Telegram-origin automated publishing. If you need multi-person approvals, a unified calendar or unrelated business-app workflows, compare those exact requirements rather than assuming every publishing tool is interchangeable.
Start with the interface that suits you
Use the Web app, iOS app or Android app for visual route management. The current Telegram bot is another entry point. RedFox confirms that activated tasks run in its cloud: you do not need to leave the management screen open. Connected accounts and destination permissions must remain valid.
Your next step: open Publish, choose one destination and set up one clearly named route. Verify the output before expanding. The Auto Forward Telegram product overview explains the wider product.
For local and community news, use the approved-bulletin workflow for X and VK. If published information changes or was wrong, follow the cross-platform news corrections runbook to check each affected copy.
Event and webinar runbooks
For confirmed event dates and a clear reminder sequence, use the Telegram event reminders to Discord and X workflow. If the date changes or the event is cancelled, follow the event reschedule and cancellation runbook to review old reminders and verify every affected destination.
Preparing long Telegram content for X
For research and newsletter posts, use the long Telegram posts to X format guide to prepare a short version with its conclusion, source link and full analysis, then check text and photo captions before automating the route.
Public security advisory runbook
For security educators and IT communities, use the public Telegram security advisory workflow for Discord and X to check disclosure permission, preserve official sources and affected versions, and verify updates or corrections without forwarding private incident material.
Already set up, but publishing failed?
Use the Telegram-to-X publishing troubleshooting tree for account/App permissions, X API credits, content refusals and destination-before-retry checks. Keep existing copies and evidence; do not reset a production route or repost an uncertain send as the first test.
