Publish Local Telegram News to X and VK: An Editor’s Workflow

You can publish approved Telegram news to X (Twitter) and VK with RedFox Auto Forward Telegram (@AutoForwardNew_Bot). Use a dedicated, public-ready Telegram source and a separate Publish Task for each destination. Put the source, location and reporting time in the bulletin itself, then check the actual post on each platform. This keeps republication out of the editor’s copy-and-paste routine without outsourcing editorial judgment.
Identity check: RedFox is the team; Auto Forward Telegram is its product. The historical @Auto_Forward_Messages_Bot has moved to @AutoForwardNew_Bot. Auto-Bot.io is a separate editorial publisher and does not develop or operate the bot.

Choose the source before choosing the destination
A reporters’ discussion group and a publishable news channel are different things. Give the route a source where every new message is cleared for the chosen public audience. Drafts, unconfirmed tips, embargoed material and private community conversations stay outside it.
The Reynolds Journalism Institute’s newsroom guidance describes sharing only publication-ready content and tracking where stories appear so corrections can reach those outlets. Apply that principle to your Telegram-origin bulletin: access to a channel is not permission to reuse its reporting or images.
| Candidate source | Publication decision | Editor’s check |
|---|---|---|
| Your own approved bulletin channel | Good starting source | Facts, images and links cleared for X/VK; no draft messages enter the route |
| An authority’s public notice | Use permitted facts with clear attribution | Read the original notice, its time and reuse terms; do not imply your account is the authority |
| A partner newsroom’s post | Use only within permission or license | Agree what may be republished, how to credit it and how corrections reach you |
| A private group, paid feed or reader tip | Do not connect it directly to public publishing | Verify and obtain the necessary rights first; prepare a separate approved bulletin |

Choose X, VK or both for a specific audience
| Destination | Useful news format | Route decision |
|---|---|---|
| X publishing account | A short, standalone headline, essential fact, reporting time and public source link | Select the connected account that should speak for your newsroom or community |
| VK Community/Page | A readable local bulletin for followers of that community | Choose Community/Page and verify the destination preview and publishing rights |
| VK Profile | A bulletin intentionally published by the authorized individual | Choose Profile only when that identity is the intended publisher—not as a substitute for the community |
Swipe the matrix horizontally to read all columns.
Use both only if both audiences benefit. Do not assume one source post becomes two editorially rewritten versions: if X needs shorter copy, prepare a short approved source for its route or use copy that is suitable for both. A long article can remain at a public link. Automatic summarization, native X threads and identical media presentation are not promised by this workflow.
A bulletin that works outside Telegram
Fictional example only: the following town, notice and times illustrate copy structure, not actual local news. Bracketed links are placeholders to replace with real, permitted public sources.
Northbank library: east entrance closed today.
As of October 1, 2026, 09:00 UTC+01:00, the library says its east entrance is closed for inspection. Use the west entrance. Source: Northbank Library notice, updated 08:45 UTC+01:00: [public notice URL]. Next check: 12:00 UTC+01:00. Published by Northbank Community Desk.
This full Telegram/VK version names the place, authority, reporting time and action. The next-check line is the editor’s planned review, not an automated bot reminder or a delivery deadline.
Illustrative shorter source for X:
Northbank library: east entrance closed; use west entrance. Library notice checked Oct 1, 09:00 UTC+01:00. Source: [public notice URL].
Compose and test that shorter version before routing it to X. Keep the meaning and attribution when shortening; do not drop a qualifier to fit. Check the complete outgoing text, including any task header/footer and real link, against the destination’s limits. A link preview is not a substitute for a source name and timestamp in the post.
Configure one approved-source route first
- Prepare the controlled test source and destination before task creation. Do not let the first experiment publish into a real community. In the current RedFox X guide, a new task is active on creation and processes new messages after creation; it does not automatically repost older messages.
- Open the Web app → Home → Publish. Use a valid, authorized platform connection. X requires active External Publish access and the documented four OAuth 1.0 credentials; provider API access and charges are separate. The X setup guide covers those prerequisites.
- Create the X Publish Task. Select X, the intended connected account and the approved Telegram source. Use a clear name such as
Approved local bulletins → X. Check provider, account, source and target on Review before creation. - For VK, create its own route. Select VK and the authorized connection. Choose Profile or Community/Page, paste the real URL/ID and check the preview before saving. Follow the RedFox VK guide and VK setup walkthrough; do not guess the destination from a similar display name.
- Test new, harmless copy. Check recipient, full text, source link and time at the destination. Then test the actual photo/caption or other representation your bulletins require. A Running task or Connected account is not proof that this bulletin was published correctly.
- Record the observed destination links. Name the editor who owns updates, correction checks and the stop decision. Expand only after the first route is useful and correct.
Try one useful route: open RedFox on the Web, choose the source you control and configure one Publish Task. Check its controlled output before adding another destination. The cross-platform publishing guide explains the wider destination map.
When the facts change, publish a labeled update
Fictional follow-up to the bulletin above:
UPDATE — Northbank library, October 1, 2026, 12:05 UTC+01:00. The library now says the east entrance has reopened after inspection. Our 09:00 bulletin accurately described the closure at that time. Source: library notice updated 12:00 UTC+01:00: [updated public notice URL]. This replaces the earlier entrance instruction.
This is an update because the situation changed. If your first bulletin named the wrong entrance, it needs a correction instead: say what you got wrong and give the right information. Do not silently rewrite the source and assume every published copy changed.
Maintain the authoritative source, publish an approved update/correction for the affected audiences, and inspect each original destination post. X change-event settings are not a guarantee of in-place editing. VK editing also depends on the exact post, permissions and route behavior. Use the separate cross-platform news corrections runbook for the action matrix and correction template.
A compact editor’s publication record
- Bulletin: editorial ID, approved version, source URL and source-check time with timezone.
- Rights: reporting/image reuse basis and any embargo or audience restriction.
- Route: source name, intended X account or VK profile/community and publishing owner.
- Observed output: original post links, checked time, text/link/media defects and action taken.
- Changes: new version, update versus correction, destination action and final verification.
These are your operating records, not a claim that RedFox creates a newsroom audit database. Keep credentials out. Pause the affected task if drafts, private information or wrong-destination posts appear. For a safety-critical notice, use the authority’s official alert channels; this route does not supply an emergency delivery guarantee.
Start with one accountable publishing workflow
Use the Web app, iOS or Android for visual management; the current bot is another entry point. RedFox confirms activated tasks run in its cloud without keeping the management screen open. Source access and destination authorization still need to remain valid.
Next step: choose one approved bulletin source, one audience and one controlled test. RedFox handles the repeat publishing route; your editor owns facts, permissions and corrections. See the product overview for broader capabilities.
Source and method note: product documentation and implementation paths were checked October 1, 2026, alongside owner-confirmed capabilities. The examples are editorial proposals, not customer results or new live X/VK tests. Publishing automation is not evidence that a bulletin has been fact-checked, moderated or read.
Start with the interface that suits you
Open Publish, choose one destination and set up one clearly named route. Verify the output before expanding.
