AutoForward Transfer Done, but Old Account Data Still Shows?

Account Transfer showed success, but AutoForward still looks like the old account? Finish the success screen with Done, then check the account identity and the specific information you expected to change before attempting another transfer. RedFox documents a post-transfer refresh for Home, Settings, Guide, tasks, folders and profile details. An old-looking screen alone is not enough to decide that a transfer failed.
This guide is for an existing RedFox Auto Forward Telegram (@AutoForwardNew_Bot) user who has already reached a transfer success screen. It helps you distinguish an unfinished return to Home, a display mismatch and an outcome that needs support. It is not a walkthrough for starting another transfer. The former @Auto_Forward_Messages_Bot has moved to @AutoForwardNew_Bot. Auto-Bot.io publishes this guide; RedFox supplies the product and its documentation.
The featured image is a conceptual illustration of checking account information, not a product screenshot or evidence of an executed transfer. The checks below are a source-backed reader workflow, not a transfer we performed on a live account.
1. Finish Done before judging the refreshed view
The official Account Transfer guide describes the flow at Home → Profile → Account Transfer. After a successful transfer, its final step is to tap Done. AutoForward returns to Home and refreshes important account-related data. RedFox says this is designed to reduce the need to force-close and reopen the app just to see updated information.
If you are still on that success screen, record its non-secret outcome details privately, tap Done once and inspect the resulting Home view. Do not reopen Account Transfer and confirm it again as a refresh method. If you already tapped Done, continue with the checks below rather than repeating the transfer.
If the outcome is pending, an error, or simply unknown after a connection interruption, this success-screen branch does not establish what happened. Keep the visible status and contact support before retrying an account-changing action.
2. Separate a refreshed screen from transfer scope
The documentation lists improved synchronization for Home, Settings, Guide, tasks, folders and recent tasks, plus profile information such as plan and UUID. That describes where updated account information should become visible. It does not mean every task, balance, entitlement or integration necessarily moves in every transfer.
RedFox explicitly says transfer behavior depends on account eligibility and available transfer rules. Use the requirements and confirmation from your own completed flow to establish what was supposed to change. Do not infer the transfer scope from a list of screens that refresh.
- Success confirmation: what the product reported about this operation.
- Visible account information: which account and values the current interface shows.
- Working forwarding: whether an intended route actually delivers as configured.
These are separate observations. A success message is not a delivery test, and an unchanged task count is not proof that the wrong tasks are present.
3. Reconcile identity before changing tasks
Start with observation. Keep other operators from making account or task changes during this short comparison so that a new edit does not obscure the result. Record the time and timezone of the transfer, the completion status, and only the non-secret identifiers needed to distinguish the intended accounts.
- Check the current product account. Review the identity details exposed in Profile or Settings. Compare the displayed UUID or other available account identifier with the account expected after the transfer; do not rely on a similar display name alone. If you did not record the expected identifier, mark it unknown rather than guessing.
- Check the affected value in its own context. If the confirmation concerned a plan or another account-related value, compare that specific value with what the flow said would happen. A refreshed Home screen cannot settle a conflicting plan display on its own.
- Inspect the expected tasks and folders. Only if your transfer flow said these should be affected, compare identifiable routes: task label, source, target, destination topic and enabled or paused state. Do not create missing-looking tasks before establishing whether you are viewing the correct account.
- Note cross-screen disagreements. For example, Home may look updated while a profile value still looks old. Record which view shows which value and when, without labeling either one authoritative merely because it was opened last.
Use a short private worksheet: expected item → basis in the transfer confirmation → current value and screen → match, mismatch or unknown. If no pre-transfer note exists, preserve that limitation. Reconstructing an expected result from memory is weaker than reading the original confirmation.
4. Choose the next action from the mismatch
- The success screen was still open; Done returns to the expected account. Compare the affected values and routes once. If they agree with the confirmation, you have reconciled the visible state; there is no reason to repeat the transfer just to refresh it.
- The account identity fits, but one value or task view disagrees. Keep the discrepancy intact for support. A display mismatch and an incomplete transfer are different possibilities; the screen alone does not identify the cause. Avoid stacking account changes to make the display look right.
- The visible identity is not the one expected. Stop editing tasks or moving value. Ask support to reconcile the completed operation and current account before changing anything. Do not authorize a new login or share access material to help someone investigate.
- The expected scope cannot be established. Ask which items the completed transfer covered. The refresh documentation is not a substitute for the account-specific transfer rules.
A useful stopping point is a clear observation, not necessarily a successful repair: “Done completed; account identity matches; the plan display still differs from the confirmation.” That gives support something narrower to investigate than “everything disappeared.”
Do not use Logout or Restore as a refresh button
The product's Logout FAQ warns that its Logout action stops and removes information, data and running tasks, and says they cannot be recovered. That is not a harmless way to clear an old-looking screen. Simply closing a management interface is a different action.
Configuration restoration is also a separate operation. The Config Backup & Restore documentation says restoring replaces the current configuration. Do not roll back a whole setup to investigate one post-transfer display discrepancy. Our configuration repair-versus-restore guide covers the different case where a known configuration edit broke a previously working route.
Account Transfer in AutoForward is also not Telegram's phone-number change feature. Telegram documents that changing the number of an existing Telegram account keeps its cloud messages, contacts and media. See Telegram's own number-change guidance for that separate operation; it does not establish how an AutoForward transfer affects product data.
Send support the discrepancy, not your credentials
Use the contacts in the official RedFox contact page. A concise private report can follow this outline:
- Operation: Account Transfer, approximate completion time and timezone.
- Observed outcome: success, whether Done was tapped, and whether Home opened afterward.
- Expected change: the specific item named in the confirmation, not an assumed full-account migration.
- Current discrepancy: the value shown on each relevant screen, plus the app/platform version if available.
- Question: “Does this match the completed transfer, and what non-destructive check should I use next?”
Share a product identifier only through the verified private support route when needed. Redact private chat names, phone numbers and unrelated account details from screenshots. Never send login codes, passwords, bot tokens or session files. Do not initiate another transfer solely to obtain a cleaner screenshot.
If the account view agrees, check delivery separately
If you also need to confirm forwarding after the transfer, inspect the existing route before any test: correct source, intended destination, topic, sender and task state. Do not enable a deliberately paused task or redirect a live audience just to prove the screen refreshed.
Use a dedicated source and private destination you control, with a route whose access and configuration are already understood. Send a new, harmless, uniquely identifiable source message and inspect its actual destination. This verifies that specific test route and message, not every task or entitlement on the account. If such a controlled route is not available, ask support for a safe validation plan rather than experimenting on production tasks.
For a missing message after the account details are reconciled, use the existing forwarding setup checks. Do not restart an account transfer to troubleshoot a separate filtering, access or destination problem.
Frequently asked questions
Must I force-close the app after a successful transfer?
RedFox says the improved flow refreshes key account data after Done without requiring a manual reopen. If the expected information still disagrees, document the exact mismatch; reopening or a success notification alone does not prove the transfer scope or live delivery.
Does the refresh list mean all tasks and paid value moved?
No. The guide describes refreshed areas, while transfer eligibility and rules remain account-specific. Compare the outcome with the actual confirmation. Do not infer a universal transfer allowance, fee, reversal rule or list of moved items from refresh behavior.
Should I transfer again if a folder looks old?
Not as a refresh experiment. First finish Done if needed, verify the current identity and check whether that folder was in the transfer's stated scope. Escalate an unresolved mismatch through official support before another account-changing action.
Next step: reconcile once, then manage the right account
For this case, begin with the completed operation: Done → account identity → affected values → expected routes. Keep a mismatch explicit rather than “fixing” it with a second transfer, Logout or Restore.
Use the official Web app, iOS app or Android app, whichever suits you. Web and mobile apps are the recommended fuller-management surfaces; the Telegram bot offers quick entry. The documented Home → Profile transfer path is an app flow; do not assume identical labels on every surface. Active tasks run in RedFox's cloud without keeping the management interface open, so closing the screen is not a task pause.
Review the RedFox Auto Forward Telegram product and official entry points, then check the account information you actually need before making further changes.
