RedFox Copier Pro Skips a Second Trade? Check Order Limits

Concept illustration of a signal ticket paused at an amber inspection gate, with a magnifier over duplicate, clock and count symbols and the headline Check Order Limits.
Concept illustration, not RedFox or MetaTrader product UI. The ticket checkpoint represents diagnosing an order restriction, not an executed trade or a financial outcome.

If RedFox Copier Pro opened an earlier trade but skips a second signal, check the EA's rejection reason before resending the message or raising a limit. The documented duplicate rule can block another order for the same symbol and direction even when the new signal has a different entry price. Order-count limits, a time restriction and other validation rules are separate checks; passing one does not mean the trade must open.

This guide is for an existing Telegram-to-MetaTrader copier setup, not first-time installation or choosing a trading strategy. The goal is to distinguish an expected restriction from a delivery, parsing or execution problem without weakening the controls you intended to keep.

Auto-Bot.io is a separate editorial publisher, not the developer or operator of RedFox Copier Pro. This guide uses public product documentation checked on October 20, 2026; it is not a live trading test or financial advice. Trading can lose money, and software limits do not guarantee a maximum realized loss.

1. Locate the decision before retrying the signal

A signal appearing in Telegram is not enough to establish what the Expert Advisor received or did. Start with one specific message and the corresponding EA log entries. The official Order Management & Validation Guide includes examples of duplicate, position-limit and total-risk rejections.

  1. Record the input: message time, symbol, direction, entry, stop loss and take-profit information. Keep the original message available privately.
  2. Inspect the account before sending anything again: look for an existing trade, pending order or completed trade that could explain the apparent absence. Do not equate “not in the open-position view” with “never submitted.”
  3. Find the matching log: distinguish a received signal rejected by a rule from a signal with no corresponding EA evidence. Record the exact wording rather than translating every rejection into “the copier is broken.”
  4. Save the relevant configuration: copier edition, version, account type and current input values. Do not change several settings while trying to preserve evidence of the original condition.

If there is no matching receipt or parsing evidence in the EA, this is not yet an order-limit diagnosis. Use the official installation and activation guide to check the existing connection, rather than turning off trade restrictions.

The parameter names below follow the current configuration guides. RedFox's input reference also uses labels such as “Open order same type by” and “Limit orders allowed to open same type.” If your terminal shows different names, record its exact labels and version and confirm the mapping with support; do not assume similarly named controls are interchangeable.

2. A duplicate order is not necessarily a duplicate message

The documented AllowDuplicateOrders = false rule blocks a new order when an existing order has the same symbol and direction. It is not described as a text-comparison rule for Telegram messages.

Illustrative case, not an executed test: an operator already has an EURUSD BUY order. A later Telegram message proposes another EURUSD BUY at a different entry. Under the documented duplicate restriction, the changed entry does not by itself make the second order eligible. The same symbol and direction are the important match.

That distinction changes the remedy:

  • You intended only one order in that direction: a matching duplicate rejection can be the expected outcome. There may be nothing to repair.
  • You intended a separate additional entry: that is a change to the permitted trading behavior, not merely a connection fix. Review the order and exposure limits on a demo account before deciding whether to allow it.
  • You expected another take-profit leg from the original signal: inspect the per-signal configuration described below. Do not treat every additional order as a repeated Telegram message.

Do not switch AllowDuplicateOrders to true simply to make a missing trade appear. Nor should you close an existing live position just to clear the diagnostic condition. First establish whether the restriction matches your intended configuration.

3. Separate duplicate, count and time restrictions

The official validation guide describes these controls separately. Use the log to identify the relevant one; this is a diagnostic map, not a claim about the internal order in which the EA evaluates them.

  • AllowDuplicateOrders: compare an existing order's symbol and direction. A different message or entry price does not automatically avoid this rule.
  • MaxOrdersPerSymbol: compare orders on that symbol, with both directions combined. Spare capacity here does not override a duplicate restriction.
  • MaxOrdersPerDirection: compare orders for that symbol and direction. Passing this check does not establish permission for an opposite-side trade.
  • MaxTotalOrders: compare the documented total-order limit across the account. A low count on one symbol does not establish available total capacity.
  • TimeOrderNext: compare the documented interval between orders on the same symbol. Waiting out the interval does not remove a duplicate or count restriction.

For example, allowing several orders per symbol does not cancel AllowDuplicateOrders = false. Equally, allowing duplicates does not mean an order can bypass the other limits. Avoid interpreting a permissive setting as a promise that every signal will execute.

Be careful with zero: the guide documents 0 as unlimited for the symbol and total order caps, and as no time restriction for TimeOrderNext. It is not a universal “stop trading” value. Do not replace a limit with zero as a troubleshooting shortcut.

Match counts to the EA's recorded reason, not just the number of rows visible in one terminal view. If pending orders, manual trades, other EA instances or the account's position model make the scope unclear, retain that uncertainty for support. This guide does not assume how every installation counts those cases.

4. Distinguish a second signal from another TP order

The Lot Size & Risk Management Guide documents MaxTPLevel, MaxOrdersPerSignal and numberOpenOrderConfig for controlling how a signal's take-profit levels produce orders. That is a different question from whether a later signal may add another order in the same direction.

Write down which outcome you expected:

  • One signal, more TP orders: compare the detected TP levels, selected TP limit and per-signal order configuration.
  • A later signal, another entry: compare the same-symbol/direction restriction, count limits and timing condition.

Multiple TP orders also need their own sizing review. Do not assume a per-order lot cap is a cap on the combined signal: the validation guide explicitly describes MaxLot as a per-order limit. This article does not prescribe lot sizes, risk percentages or a multi-entry strategy.

Also check that the copier has not been attached repeatedly as a workaround. Both the MT4 product listing and the MT5 product listing instruct users to attach it to one chart only. Adding another instance to force a skipped signal is not the remedy described here.

5. Follow the actual rejection when it is not a count limit

If the log points elsewhere, follow that evidence. The validation guide also documents:

  • Missing take profit: SkipOrderWithoutTP can skip an order without a TP level when enabled.
  • Pending-order restrictions: AllowPendingOrders controls whether pending-order signals are allowed.
  • Stop-loss distance: MinSLPips and MaxSLPips constrain the acceptable SL distance.
  • Total exposure: MaxTotalRiskPercent is documented as a separate total-risk check, not an order-count setting.

Symbol, time and content filtering have their own Trading Filters Guide. A filter rejection should not be “fixed” by increasing the order cap. Likewise, a broker execution error needs its exact error details; it is not proof of a duplicate-rule failure.

The useful result may be “the configured rule rejected this input.” Fix an incorrect input or configuration only after identifying it. Do not remove a stop-loss requirement, relax exposure controls or change the intended order type merely to produce an execution.

6. Confirm one hypothesis on a demo account

Use a separate demo account and controlled test input, not a replay into the live trading route. Preserve the original settings first. The following is a proposed diagnostic procedure, not a test Auto-Bot.io has performed:

  1. State the expected outcome: for example, “with an existing same-symbol BUY and the documented duplicate restriction enabled, another BUY should be rejected for that reason.”
  2. Record the starting state: existing orders, pending orders, relevant input values and the exact copier version. Keep unrelated live terminals and signal routes out of the test.
  3. Use one controlled signal: retain its timestamp and inspect the resulting EA log and account state before trying anything else.
  4. Compare reason and outcome: did the log identify the expected restriction, another validation rule, or no received signal? A different reason is evidence to follow, not permission to disable every check.
  5. Change only an identified mismatch: preserve the intended restrictions and repeat only in the demo environment. If the labels or behavior do not match the documentation, stop the experiment and ask support.

Do not use a successful demo order as proof of profitability, live execution quality or universal duplicate prevention. The diagnostic success criterion is narrower: you can explain why that input was accepted or rejected under the recorded settings.

What to send support if the reason is still unclear

Use the product's official support route with a compact, private evidence packet:

  • MT4 or MT5 edition, copier version and account mode.
  • One sanitized signal and its timestamp, plus the exact relevant log excerpt.
  • The existing symbol/direction and order counts at that time.
  • The relevant input labels and values, including per-signal settings if TP orders are involved.
  • Expected behavior, observed behavior and whether the reproduction was demo-only.

Remove bot tokens, passwords, account numbers and unrelated private messages. Ask which rule and counting scope applied before asking how to raise a limit. That keeps the discussion about the actual decision rather than a general request to “make all trades open.”

FAQ

Why can a new entry price still be called a duplicate?

The documented duplicate rule matches an existing order's symbol and direction, not just identical Telegram text or entry price. A genuinely new message can therefore encounter that restriction.

Will waiting make the skipped order open automatically?

Do not assume that. The guide describes a time restriction, but it does not establish automatic replay of every skipped signal. Waiting also does not clear a separate same-direction or count restriction. Check the log and account state before any controlled demo retry.

Should I raise the limit if there is no second trade?

Not until you know the reason and confirm that an additional entry is actually intended. A correctly configured restriction is not a connection problem. Changing it can permit exposure you previously excluded.

Next step: identify the rule, not just the missing trade

Open the RedFox Trading Suite overview for the copier product links and official documentation. Then take one skipped signal, one matching log and the relevant settings through the checks above. If you are still separating signal routing from trade execution, the broader trading automation overview provides that context; it is not a replacement for the copier's current configuration documentation.

The target is an explained decision, not an extra live trade. Keep the existing restrictions in place unless a deliberate, demo-checked configuration change is warranted.
